Trying to get to Box Canyon Falls

As if hiking anywhere for any length of time at a higher elevation, while pregnant and having braxton hicks (sp), wasn't difficult enough... there was snow! I was proud of myself for getting as far as we did (up a hill :-) , but then there was this random snow...that was in a drift along the trail higher then the fence...with a giant canyon to fall into if you slipped. Needless to say, we stopped and trecked elsewhere to Cascade falls.

We did manage some pretty pictures on the way back down the "hill," which was good, especially after all that labored walking. ...and for certain, I was sad not to make it to our first destination...
