Sometime last month, I mentioned that I wanted a stool for Aloria, and so Aaron decided he wanted to make it, himself. He looked up a template online and then just...built it :-) He didn't use any nails...it's called mortise and tenon. He chisled out all of the shapes by hand (except the big pieces themselves) and wood glued it together so it wouldn't come apart. Technically, I think the pieces are supposed to fit so snugly that you don't need glue...but it was his first time. We just stained it yesterday, and it turned out so great!
